Financial performance of selected it companies

Abstract

The term “financial statement” has come to be limited by most accounting and business writers to mean the ‘balance sheet’ and the ’profit & loss statement’. The principal financial statements include the balance sheet, the income statement and the statement of retained earnings of a business enterprise. In financial accounting, a balance sheet or statement of financial position is a summary of the financial balances of a sole proprietorship, a business partnership or a company. An official quarterly or annual financial document published by a public company, showing earnings, expenses, and net profit. Net income is determined from this financial report by subtracting total expenses from revenue. The data are collected from secondary sources. The tools used for analysis, Ratios, Mean, Co-Efficient of Variation, Compound Annual Growth Rate. It can be concluded that the selected IT companies is having strong fundamentals but the setbacks (or) the fluctuations are only temporary in nature.
