Online published on 12 December, 2019. Abstract The results revealed that Y1 isolate was found to be more effective on the penetration of Meloidogyne incognita followed by Y8 isolate. From the penetration results, the Y1 isolate was further tested against the biology of M.incognita. The results revealed that there was a delay in penetration of nematodes in the roots and also reduction in number of adult females and nematode egg mass production compared to untreated plants. It was observed that the eggs were completely deformed and were completely colonized by the yeast cells. Y1 and Y8 isolates were identified as Rhodotorula mucilaginosa and Candida albicans, respectively. Top Keywords Antagonist yeast, Biology, Meloidogyne incognita, Solanum lycopersicum., . Top | |
