Abstract Studies were taken on the relative abundance of predaceous coccinellids in cabbage crop ecosystem in different location (Jaunpur, Azamgarh & Varanasi districts) of Purvanchal, Uttar Pradesh over a period of Six month in 2020 & 2021. A total of 6 species belonging to 5 genera of predatory coccinellids were recorded. Among the collected ladybird beetle Coccinella septumpunctata (Linnaeus) and Coccinella transversalis (Fabricius) were the most abundant species where as Cheilomenes sexmaculata (Fabricius), Hippodemia variegata (Goeze), Propylea dissecta (Mulsant) & Adalia tetraspilota (Hope) were found in all the places of sampling sites during both the year. The maximum species diversity was recorded in Azamgarh (1.544), Varanasi (1.515) on cabbage ecosystem as compared to Jaunpur (1.487) during the 2021year and the maximum species diversity was recorded in 2020 at Jaunpur (1.497) followed by Varanasi & Azamgarh (1.464 & 1.406), respectively.
