Abstract

Dentist's knowledge of radiations is mainly restricted to x-rays. Dentists try to lessen x- radiation exposure to patients and themselves by adopting various radiation safety measures. In contrast to common risk assessment practice of applying safety measures from potentially dangerous X-rays, we have to look into other source of radiation viz. electromagnetic radiation (EMR) in dental office that can be harmful to us in long run.
