Publication Ethics and Publication Malpractice Statement

Manuscripts submitted for the journal shall be evaluated by the editors solely on the basis of their academic virtue which comprises their quality, significance, lucidity, efficacy and originality as well as their pertinency for the journal. The evaluation process shall not pay any regard to gender, ethnicity, citizenship, nationality, institutional affiliation, sexual orientation, religious beliefs, and / or political ideology. Any information regarding submitted manuscripts shall not be disclosed by the editors, editorial board and editorial staff to anyone. Necessary information shall be disclosed, wherever appropriate, only to authors/co-authors, reviewers, editorial advisors and/or publisher. Any unpublished information contained in the manuscripts submitted for consideration for publication in the journal shall not be used by the editors and members of editorial team for their own research intent except after obtaining definite written consent from the author(s). Due attention shall be paid to ensure that the review process of the submitted manuscripts, as far as possible, is objective and comprehensive. The observations regarding the content of manuscripts shall be made clearly and, wherever feasible, shall be supported by relevant arguments so that it is possible for the author(s) to improve the content on their basis. Indulgence in personal criticism of the author(s) shall be refrained.

It shall be the duty of the authors to follow the guidelines recommended for manuscript writing for journal and submit their exclusively original and unpublished manuscripts. They shall be required to affirm these and to attest that their manuscripts have not been copied either in whole or in part from other works. In case the authors have used the works of other scholars or have used their words then due care shall be taken by them to ensure that these have been rightly acknowledged, aptly cited and included in references. Authors shall not submit any such manuscript which has been submitted to another journal and / or which has been published in another journal. Authors shall be expected to cooperate fully with the editors and members of editorial team in the manuscript review process and respond expeditiously and suitably to the requests and observations made by them. In the light of the comments made by the reviewers on the content of the manuscripts the authors shall have to respond promptly and systematically. After making all required revisions in the manuscript the author(s) shall have to re-submit it within the prescribed time-limit.

All plausible measures shall be taken by the editors and publisher to single out those papers in which research misconduct is apparent and to preclude their publication. Various types of malpractices shall be discouraged and efforts shall be duly made to uphold ethical publication standards. It shall be the prerogative of the editors to take the decision regarding publication or otherwise of the submitted manuscripts. The responsibility for statement of facts, quotations given, views and opinions expressed, statistical data and equations given, statistical calculations made, tabulations presented and research work done in the papers, articles and book reviews published in this journal shall be borne entirely by the respective authors. The editors, editorial board and editorial staff shall not be responsible in any way for them.
