Sulphur Requirements of Growing Buffalo Calves Through Different Sources of Sulphur Multani A.S., Ahuja A.K. Department of Animal Science, Punjab Agricultural University, Ludhiana-141004, India Online published on 21 January, 2012. Abstract Nine buffalo calves were used in three metabolic trials for the estimation of sulphur requirements. The dietary N:S ratios used in each trial were 5:1, 10:1 and 15:1. The supplemental sources of sulphur were : sodium sulphate, DL-mcthionine and groundnut cake (GNC). Through multiple regression analysis, the dietary requirements of sulphur were computed as 0.134, 0.127, 0.097 and 0 091 per cent of the feed, from sodium sulphate DL-methionine GN cake and combination of three sources, respectively.
