Abstract A laboratory experiment was taken up to evaluate the efficacy of botanicals on the groundnut bruchid Caryedon serratus (Olivier) at the Department of Entomology, College of Agriculture, SVPUA&T, Meerut during August, 2018 to February, 2019. Performance was assessed based on mortality, number of eggs and pupae, adult emergence, weight loss and damage %. The results revaled that the neem leaf powder, black pepper powder and Lantana leaf powder are effective.
