Online published on 16 May, 2017. Abstract Libraries have made their presence on the Web in the form of library website to cater the information needs of its users. User-centered usable website is the need of the present day. Library websites are evolved as the information gateway to the resources acquired or subscribed by the library, whether it is in print form or in electronic form. This paper describes the efforts made for improving the usability of the website of the Central Science Library (CSL), University of Delhi. Improvements made in the website were based on the outcomes of the usability evaluation of the library website. Information architecture of the redesigned website homepage; reorganization of the content and addition of the new features are discussed in this paper.
