Level of aneiety among university athletes

Abstract

Anxiety is a complex emotional state usually accompanied by tension and intimately related to movement behavior. Muscular tension will be there when an individual is in a state of heightened anxiety. Due to anxiety more tension is created and it affects performance. The anxiety is one of the most important notion and significant feature of personality of an athlete. Here this research reveals there is no significant difference in the anxiety level of athletes. As a result of continuous and strenuous physical training the athletes can keep a steady state of mind.
