Abstract

Stress is an emotional and physical response to pressures from the outside world. Today, stress seems more pervasive and persistent in college girl students. Between 60 -65% of all girls visits to primary care physicians due to stress related issues. Yogic practices involve a series of both moving and stationary poses, combined with deep breathing. As well as reducing anxiety and stress, yoga can also improve flexibility, strength, balance, and stamina. Practiced regularly, it can also strengthen the relaxation response in your daily life. In the present study thirty colleges going girls are selected to find out how yogic practices help to combat stress in their daily life.
