Calcific metamorphosis occurs commonly in young adults as an end result of trauma. It is usually evident in the anterior region of the mouth and can partially or totally obliterate the pulp space radiographically. Most of the studies and case reports suggest that endodontic therapy is not intervened unless a periapical pathology is detected and/or when the concerned tooth becomes symptomatic. This case report presents the anterior teeth with calcific metamorphosis treated with porcelain veneers. Top Keywords Dental trauma, discoloration, calcific metamorphosis, porcelain veneers. Top |
