The ideology and concepts in this field have evolved and changed dramatically in recent years. Although implants offer a good outcome in partially edentulous patient, the outcomes have been better in completely edentulous patients in whom the retention and stability of the denture were extremely poor. A newly evolving idea in the field of implant dentistry is the use of SynCone for the rehabilitation of edentulous ridges. SynCone helps in immediate loading of the prosthesis under local anesthesia whereas in case of delayed restoration it serves as a prefabricated retentive component for both maxillary and mandibular edentulous ridge. This is a case report of rehabilitation of partially edentulous maxillary arch. Top Keywords SynCone Concept, Delayed Loading and Friction Fit. Top |
