It has been found that among the most common risk factors among the two diseases are; Alcohol, Smoking, age, family history, and obesity. Smoking has been found to have higher results in both diseases as compared to the other factors. Also, obesity has been found to have signifcantly reduced as a risk factor for cancer. However, although most of the risk factors have reduced signifcantly, the prevalence of both diseases is still high and hence there is a need for further research to evaluate the other risk factors which are associated with both RA and Cancer.
