Online published on 11 July, 2019. Abstract Objectives The purpose of the study is to assess the prevalence of RLS in nursing population. This study will help to find out the prevalence of RLS along with its varying intensities that is severe, moderate, mild, or none in nursing population. Method Ethical clearance was obtained from institutional ethical committee. A Total of 80 consecutive nurses aged between 20 to 80 years were interviewed. They were selected according to the inclusion and exclusion criteria. They were allowed to fill the restless leg syndrome rating scale which conclusion was made. Results The Results obtained by RLS rating scale stated that majority of nurses experienced moderate RLS (31%) mild (43%) severe (18%) very severe (5%) none (3%). Conclusion It was found that restless leg syndrome occurs in nurses. Maximum nurses affected showed mild sensations according to RLS scale.
