Surgical Affections of Brisket in Murrah buffaloes

Abstract

Brisket edema, ulcer, tumor and abscess in twelve buffaloes was reported and managed. The brisket edema was treated by diuretics, while abscess was treated by incision and drainage. The tumors and ulcers were subjected for radical surgery. It is concluded that affections of brisket in buffaloes which are negative for traumatic pericarditis can be surgically managed.
