Online published on 5 November, 2018. Abstract Clinico-haematological changes in traumatic pericarditis were investigated in twelve buffaloes. Diagnosis was based upon clinical, ultrasonographic and post-mortem findings. The clinical findings included increased rectal temperature, abducted elbow, brisket oedema, abnormal heart sound etc. Haematological investigation revealed anaemia, leucocytosis and granulocytosis. In postmortem findings, there was thickening of pericardium and foreign body in pericardial sac of affected buffaloes. Top Keywords Buffalo, brisket oedma, haematology, traumatic pericarditis. Top |
