Online published on 5 November, 2018. Abstract A Murrah buffalo calf was presented with complaint of discomfort, swelling of right ear flap and head shaking. On physical examination, a soft fluctuating swelling was noticed on the medial side of right ear diagnosed as aural haematoma and decided for surgical drainage. The calf was anaesthetized and drainage was undertaken with a S shape long incision. There was no complication noticed during post-surgical period and sutures were removed on twelveth day post-surgery. Animal recovered uneventfully.
