Intermittent to continuous pain was observed in all cases of colic along with significant increase in Hb and PCV%, total leucocyte and neutrophil counts. Biochemical and oxidative stress alteration revealed significant increase in BUN, creatinine, blood glucose level and increased level of lipid peroxidation (LPO) in erythrocytes of colic affected equines.
