Online published on 4 May, 2019. Abstract Twelve (12) babesia positive goats and six apparently healthy goats were evaluated for comparative hemato-biochemical study. Anorexia, suspended rumination, pale mucous membrane, pyrexia, bilateral nasal discharge, tachycardia, tachypnoea and hemoglobinuria were observed in babesiosis affected animals. Hemato-biochemical examination revealed anaemia. Peripheral blood smears examination revealed Babesia motasi in nine goats and Babesia ovis in three goats.
