Online published on 4 May, 2019. Abstract A cow was presented with signs of anorexia, dyschezia, excretion of dark, soft faeces and lack of rumination. Abdominal paracentesis revealed exudatation along with Setaria digitata indicating primary, acute and localized peritonitis. Both Gram positive and negative bacteria were identified in peritoneal fluid and hematological analysis revealed no changes.
