Online published on 4 May, 2019. Abstract A ewe was presented with history of anorexia, weakness and marked facial swelling. On clinical examination, animal had polypnea, halitosis, dyspnoea, ptosis, extended neck, high rectal temperature and increased blood clotting time. Hematological findings revealed decrease in hemoglobin, TEC, PCV and TLC values with marked thrombocytopenia. The ewe was treated with polyvalent anti snake venom, furosemide, deriphyllin, meloxicam, dexamethasone and ascorbic acid for three days after diagnosis as snake envenomation.
