Twenty eight dogs were included in the study, Eighteen dogs having heart failure and ten dogs were healthy normal for control cohort. Cardiac troponin-I were measured in all dogs including ten dogs with non-cardiogenic respiratory distress. Cardiac troponin-I concentration increased as the severity of signs increased.
