Online published on 4 May, 2019. Abstract Urine sediment examination was performed in 150 samples of different animal species, out of which 120 samples showed abnormal constituents. The conditions recorded were cylindruria, crystalluria, urolithiasis, hematuria, hemoglobinuria, pyuria, bacteriuria and neoplasia. Urine sediment examination was found to be an important non-invasive tool for diagnosis of metabolic diseases and urinary tract pathology.
