Abstract

A doe was presented with rounded neoplastic mass located on the prolapsed uterus with history of parturition before three days. The tumourous mass was hard and uterine restoration was not possible. The mass was removed surgically and the goat showed recovery after seven days. Microscopic examination showed that the capsulated neoplastic mass consisted of mixture of smooth muscle and connective tissue arranged in all directions and planes. Tumor had densely packed spindle-shaped muscle fibers cells and arranged in parallel to each other confirming leiomyoma.
