Abstract The present study was undertaken on Peste des Petitis Ruminants (PPR) in small ruminants of south Gujarat. 334 Samples were collected from different locations, processed with prime objective of appraisal of clinical symptoms of PPR disease and to study pathomorphological changes occurring in PPR diseased animals. Clinical signs of PPR were observed and their frequency of occurrence was recorded. In goats, most frequently observed signs were dullness (82.03 percent) followed by fever, dyspnea, serous ocular and nasal discharge, sneezing, mucopurulent discharge from eyes/nostrils and stomatitis/ulceration. The least observed clinical sign was diarrhea/dehydration. The most frequently observed clinical sign in sheep was sneezing (29.48%), but serous mucopurulent nasal discharge, fever, dyspnea and dullness were observed similar to goats.
