The ripe fruits have high fiber content together with good protein content, low fat and higher amount of monosaturated fatty acids as compared to polysaturated fatty acids. It contains significant amount of β-carotene followed by rutein + zeaxanthene, retinol and phylloquinone (Vit K) which are important in the regulation of haemoglobin and fibrinogen in human body.
