Abstract Work plays an important role in people's lives and influences their well-being. Though employment is an exciting challenge for many individuals, it is a remarkable source of stress. Employees are experiencing high level of stress due to various factors such as heavy workload, tight schedules, high targets, heavy work, lack of job satisfaction, long working hours, pressure to achieve, etc. Stress in the workplace affects the productivity and functioning of the organization. This paper deals with the relationship between productivity and the level of stress among IT Professionals in Technopark, Trivandrum. Also this paper deals with the available stress management strategies followed by the Information Technology companies inside Technopark campus Trivandrum. The primary data is collected from the IT Professionals from different IT companies of Technopark, Trivandrum by using questionnaire. For this research, simple random sampling of 150 respondents is selected from Techno park employees, Trivandrum. The findings show a very low, positive correlation between productivity and level of stress. If stress is positive then the performance of the employees will be positive and if stress is negative then the performance of the employees will also be negative. So the management should take care regarding the physical and mental wellness of the employees in order to gain huge profit.
