Reverberation of training and development: A case study Dr. Kumar Neera Assistant Professor, BMS Department, SIES (NERUL) College of Arts, Science & Commerce Online published on 2 April, 2019. Abstract In the recent years it has been observed that there is a great deal of emphasis laid on the training and development of employees. Theoretically, there can be two frames of references for looking at this, one from the view of the employees and the other from the view of employers. For employees, training and development programs serve as an opportunity to learn and adapt a new skill free of charge that may have been out of their reach in other circumstances. From the perspective of employers, these programs serve as prime opportunity to mould and shape employees for profit maximisation. This research paper attempts to understand the pragmatic and actual aspects of the same though heavy manufacturing industries (HINDALCO). Top Keywords Training, Development, Performance. Top | |
