Abstract

Health seeking and health information seeking are practice has come across a long way. Health-seeking behaviour is not just an isolated area. It is part and parcel of a person's, a family's or a community's identity, which is the result of an evolving mix of social, personal, cultural and experiential factors. There are many medical practices as well as systems such as Ayurveda, Allopathy, Unani, Siddha, Homeopathy and others. Ever since health has become an important concern, mankind has been constantly inventing various ways and means to counter the health issues. This study aims to explore the health and health information-seeking behaviour of postgraduate students of Tumkur University.
