Effect of Supply Chain Integration and Market Orientation on Organizational Performance (Case Study: Abadan Petrochemical Company) Koubor Mohammad Amina, Alizadeh Benyaminb aAssistant Professor, Department of Economics, Khorramshahr University of Marine Science and Technology, Khorramshahr, Iran bMaster of Executive Management, Islamic Azad University, International Branch of Kish, Kish, Iran Abstract Performance has always been of interest to executives, managers are constantly trying to improve the implementation of enterprise systems in an attempt to improve the performance of commercial and operational organization. The main objective of this study was to examine the relationship between supply chain integration, market orientation and organizational performance. In this research paper, according to Leo et al (2012), aspects of supply chain integration are expressed in terms of knowledge sharing and coordination of operations. The performance is also studied from both commercial and operational aspects. Market orientation is expressed in terms of competitor orientation and customer orientation. A questionnaire was used for data analysis. Validity of the research tool was assessed as content validity and the reliability was typed based on Cronbach's alpha coefficient. Research on the relationship between variables is done in the regression and SPSS software. A sample size of 220 employees of the Abadan Petrochemical Co. was determined. Results of the analysis showed that there is a significant relationship between information sharing and business and operational performance there. Also, a significant relationship was observed between the coordination of operational and commercial performance and operational performance. Finally, it was determined that two variables, customer orientation and competitor orientation, are effective on the relationship between supply chain integration and effective performance.
