This study compares eight agreements signed by a KESLI consortium. Based on the result, the checklist that requires special attention in each provision of the agreements is developed. The issues that needed to be examined between the content in the KESLI model agreement and the provisions in the eight license agreements were identified as follows: terms, authorized users, fees and charges, duration of agreement, termination, jurisdiction for disputes, and others. A checklist was drawn as the result of comparison and an analysis of major issues. The checklist will help acquisition librarians review e-journal licenses more accurately and efficiently, which will in turn facilitate signing of license agreements with more awareness and understanding.
