On the system of governance in the samarkand principality in the first half of the XIX century

Abstract

This article discusses the system of local government in the Samarkand principality in the first half of the XIX century, its peculiarities of the principality. It is connected to Zarafshan by the east and north. Ankhor district is located in the western part of Samarkand; its southern border is bordered by the Zarafshan River on the northern side to the foothills and the western edge on the desert. Sugudu Kalon district included lands up to the right Aliabad district of Akdarya. Zarafshan two: The district in the upper part of the island where Aqdarya and Qoradarya separate is called Ofarinkent.
