Neural Network is one of the important names in theinterdisciplinary Medical Electronics and Computing. This field was born as Nero Computing and also as Connectionists Theory (CT) out of a research by McCulloch. Neural Network is applicable in the pattern recognition activities. It is responsible for providing a range of powerful new techniques for solving problems in pattern recognition, data analysis and control. Earlier Artificial Neural Network was mainly responsible for the recognition and simulation of the human nervous system, but owing to interdisciplinary researches ANN is working now as processor of Human information and other signal processing systems. This paper provides an overview of Neural Network and its contemporary uses in Medical field.
