Abstract

Understanding of canals anatomy is an essential part in endodontic treatment. Various anatomic forms and variations in special teeth should be well known, one of them extra roots and root canals. The purpose of this study was to present a clinical case of maxillary first molar with six canals, with three Mesio- Buccal canals, two Disto-Buccal and one Palatal canal. This report serves to remind clinicians that such anatomical variations should be taken into account during endodontic treatment of maxillary molars.
