Development, poverty, and inequality stand in a tri-junction and raise debates on the effects and counter-effects they have on each other. This paper tries to comprehend the dynamics of poverty, inequality, and development and their measurements. The magnitude of absolute poverty and relative inequality at the international level illuminates the patterns of development.
