Resilience in the medical professionals: A review of recent literature

Abstract:

Inside the entire world there are various and a huge number of health professionals and they face various types of the stresses with their medical practices with time pressures, workload, several roles and emotional consequences. These everyday employment places anxiety lead problems to professional’s bodily as well psychological wellbeing too. Further it causes problems like burnout and in few cases, disturbing stress-like symptoms. These all the outcomes effectively have a great impact on the well-being of professionals and also effect efficaciously on their clinical practices. It is henc every important that a preventive approach is adopted. Arising resilience encouraging environment inside the healthcare professionals helps to explore them out of the negative world and helps to increase in their positivity towards their personal as well professional life and also will help them in better working in their clinical practices. This literature review searches to clarify the procedures and features that develop resilience in the healthcare professionals. This literature researches two healthcare professions (nursing and medicine) torecognize the individual and contextual resilience-enhancing qualities of each profession.
