Effectiveness of massage with aromatic ginger and orange essential oil on Knee pain among elderly people Mrs. Graciah A. Abstract Effect of massage with aromatic ginger and orange essential oil on knee pain of elderly people, was done using one group pre test post test design. Purposive samples of 40 elderly people were selected for the study. Western Ontario McMaster Scale (WOMAC) was used to assess the level of knee pain. Aromatic ginger and orange essential oil massage was given for duration of 20 minutes per day for six sessions in scheduled timing over a period of three weeks. The result showed that there is significant reduction in knee pain among elderly people after the intervention.
