Abstract A pre experimental one group pre test-post test design was adopted to assess the effectiveness of Embelia ribes (False pepper) on Helminthiasis among children.35 children between 3–5 years were selected by non probability sampling technique. Embelia ribes (5 gms) dissolved in 200 ml of water was administered as a single dose in early morning. The effectiveness of Embelia ribes was assessed by using check list on clinical manifestations of Helminthiasis, Stool examination and the level of satisfaction of mothers was assessed by using rating scale. The study concludes that the Embelia ribes was effective in bringing out positive changes in the clinical manifestations of Helminthiasis among children. Top Keywords Embelia ribes, Helminthiasis.
