Online published on 13 March, 2013. Abstract A new, simple, accurate and sensitive UV-spectrophotometric absorption correction method has been developed for simultaneous determination of Nebivolol and Hydrochlorothiazide in combined pharmaceutical dosage form. The method is based upon determination of Nebivolol at 281 nm and Hydrochlorothiazide at 316.5 nm, in aqueous methanol (20% v/v). Nebivolol hydrochloride and Hydrochlorothiazide at their respective λmax 281.0 nm and 316.5 nm shows linearity in the concentration range of 5–35 μg/ml and 10–70 μg/ml respectively. The method was validated statistically. Top Keywords Nebivolol, Hydrochlorothiazide, absorption correction method, standard addition. Top |
