Abstract Agricultural libraries are playing significant role in information dissemination to scientists, researchers and farmers. The majority of the users of agricultural information for practical use in the fields is by the farmers. They are the end users of the information. Agricultural libraries can act as community information and development centers for sustainable development. Students, farmers and other users of the libraries can be sensitized for environment protection.
