Occurrence and chemical control of acid lime dry root-rot in Andhra Pradesh Gopal K., Gopi V., Sreenivasulu Y., Babu Prasad Molecular Diagnosis Laboratory, Citrus Research Station, Acharya N.G. Ranga Agricultural University, Tirupati-517 502, (AP). Abstract The incidence of citrus dry root rot was assessed in 21 acid lime, 7 each of Rangpur lime and Rough lemon nurseries located in Kadapa, Chittoor and Anantapur districts of Andhra Pradesh (A.P). Highest incidence of 44% was recorded in Kodur followed by Anantharajpet (35.6%). The pathogen was identified as Fusarium solani. Root stock, Rough lemon was found highly susceptible to the disease (42.8%) compared to Rangpur lime (10.87%). Of the six fungicides tested, carbendazim (0.1%) could reduce the disease incidence up to 91.7%. Top Key words Citrus, Dry root rot, Fusarium solani, Survey, Chemical control. Top | | |
