Online published on 11 June, 2014. Abstract A new compound 5-aryl-2-aryl amino-5-hydrothiazolo [4,3-b]-1,3,4-oxadiazole was synthesized from aromatic primary amine. The compound was evaluated for its effect on mitosis in root tip cells of Allium cepa. The compound showed significant antimitotic activity.
