Online published on 9 April, 2021. Abstract The Covid-19 pandemic that originated in Wuhan, now has a gripping effect in almost all countries around the world claiming lakhs of lives. This outbreak is a matter of grave concern as the death tolls have reached the pinnacle. Furthermore, lockdown across various countries has led to a drastic downfall in the socio-economic background with countless people losing jobs. Hence, it becomes very important to control the spread of this pandemic. This is possible by rapid spread of information amongst citizens, faster and efficient testing equipment, prediction of the extent of spread of the disease and the means to overcome it.
