Abstract

Apis florea inhabited onion plots under caged condition resulted in maximum number of seeds per umbel (700 seeds/umbel), 1000 seed weight (3.78 g), yield kg/ha (590.37 kg/ha), seed setting (95.23%), germination percentage (90%) and lowest crinkled seed percentage (4.77%). On the other hand, lowest number of seeds per umbel (560.20 seeds/umbel), 1000 seed weight (2.95 g), seed setting (74.56%), seed germination (78.00%) and highest crinkled seeds (16.22%) were recorded without it.
