Abstract The main problem with which the Indian youth is confronted is lack of proper direction and inadequate training which is necessary to plan his future and the same time to generate the feeling of nationalism and fraternity and unity in his personality building. The youth of today is the builder of a country of tomorrow. One can mirror the future of the nation in the crowed of youth. The national problems like unemployment, population explosion and communalism have created a complete chaos in the Indian society. The dividing forces such as communalism, castism, regionalism creates disharmony in our society and slowly destroy the every fabric of our unity. To achieve the goal of unity and harmony in our society, one of the ways is to educate our people, specially our young generation about unity and sense of nationalism.
