Accumulation of β-N-Oxalyl Amino Alanine in Lathyrus during Podding and Maturation Srivastava R P, Srivastava G K Indian Institute of Pulses Research, Kanpur - 208 024, India Abstract The accumulation of BOAA was studied at four stages of podding and two stages of maturity in low and high BOAA genotypes. The major BOAA was synthesized and accumulated during development and enlargement of pods, which however declined during maturity.
