Online published on 2 January, 2017. Abstract An experiment was executed using twenty one different okra genotypes during kharif season, 2015 at the Horticulture Research Farm, Department of Horticulture, Institute of Agricultural Sciences, Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi toevaluate performance of twenty one genotypes of okra. The experiment was laid out in randomized block design with three replications. Among the various parameter, genotype HRB-55 (5.33) taken minimum days to 50% germination and maximum green fruit length was recorded in genotype Kashi Satdhari (13.33 cm) genotypes Pusa Makhmali and Omkar is statistically at par with Kashi Satdhari. The maximum green fruit diameter (2.00 cm), peduncle length (2.12 cm), breadth of leaf (28.80 cm) and maximum length of leaf (17.83 cm) was recorded in the genotype Kashi Satdhari. Whereas, maximum plant height (148.04 cm) was recorded in the genotype VRO-6 (148.04 cm). The lower number of node (4.44) at which first flower appear was reportedwith genotype 303-10-1. Minimum days to first flowering (37.20) was recorded in the genotype VRO-6 andminimum days, minimum days to 50% flowering (45.78) was recorded in the genotype Nidhi and maximum number of flower per plant (24.04) was recorded with genotype VRO-6.
