Online published on 1 May, 2012. Abstract The Central Odontogenic Fibroma, as the name implies, is a benign odontogenic neoplasm that occurs excl~sively in the jaws. Based on its anatomic distribution and histological appearance, this neoplasm is considered to be tumor of the mesenchymal components of odontogenic apparatus that is the dental follicle, dental papilla or the periodontal ligament. The purpose of this paper is to present a case of Central Odontogenic Fibroma of the body of mandible with resorption of the involved teeth and root displacement of adjoining teeth in a 29 year old male patient.
