Abstract Field studies, aimed at to evaluate the effectiveness of bio-agents and essential oils such as neem oil, clove oil, garlic oil, zinger oil and NSKE against Cercospora canescens in In-vivo conditions, showed that Trichoderma viride + clove oil @ 2.5 per cent caused significant reduction is C. canescens disease intensity leading to considerable increase in growth attributes viz., no. of leaves, no. of branches, plant height, no. of flowers, no. of pods followed by T. virdae + garlic oil (2.5%).
