Abstract In recent developments, many institutes have now adopted the policy of sending the student results individually on email provided by the university or reported by the student himself. The issue was taken because there are increasing concerns to safeguard the student’s privacy. To solve this issue, the solution is provided by use of Microsoft Mail Merge Technique to safely and privately send the students results. In this article we will mainly focus on how to use mail merge safely and securely to send individual results to the students without being noticed by other students during results display. This article is intended to facilitate the faculty members intended to send the course results by using mail merge to send individual students. It is concluded that Microsoft Mail Merge is one of the highly promising tool to be utilized in student centric medical education to disperse individual results giving priority to students’ privacy.
